The Mission of the Plains-Paradise Rural Fire District (PPRFD)

The mission of the PPRFD is to provide fire suppression; motor vehicle accident extrication/rescue service and traffic control; and to assist with any other emergency situations that may occur within the rural fire district.  To maintain a staff of highly trained volunteers. To maintain departmental equipment.  To educate the public in home and property fire safety.  And to provide support to other area emergency services departments as defined by the Sanders County Mutual Assistance agreements.
